HANSON LOGISTICS

Hanson Transport which trades as Hanson Logistics is the Hanson family’s Yorkshire-based logistics company.  With origins in the industrial boom of the mid-nineteenth century it carried wool and textiles by packhorse between Longwood and Huddersfield.  It now offers a nationwide distribution service, a specialist chemical and hazardous waste storage facility in Huddersfield, a repacking and sampling service for the chemical industry and worldwide freight forwarding.

SINOJIE HANSON

Sinojie Hanson Limited was formed in 2005 and in January 2010 Hanson Family Holdings purchased a significant minority interest. The company provides fine chemical sourcing, development and supply organisation in the People's Republic of China, targeted at Western world markets and particularly Europe. Western fine chemical users have been sourcing out of China for over 30 years, but the supply chain has been difficult to manage. The issues have predominantly been related to reliability, quality, traceability, health and safety, environmental and logistics. Sinojie Hanson has managed to eliminate these issues by virtue of its structure and approach, leading to the satisfaction of both customer and supplier. By being based in China, we are able to offer products and services to the World's chemical industry at highly competitive prices, without compromising on quality, safety and service. This has, in turn, resulted in us becoming the Chinese partner of choice to a number of important international customers. Sinojie Hanson's European operations centre is now based at Hanson Logistics and brings an expansion in business scope to cover freight, warehousing, storage and distribution activities.

HANSON PH

Hanson PH is a joint venture between Hanson Logistics and pH Europe and specialises in the distribution of long-life reusable boxes, crates, and pallets from the world leader in returnable transit packaging, Schoeller Arca Systems (SAS). The company is run out of the Hanson Logistics site in Huddersfield and capitalises on the core capabilities of both companies.

Hanson Asset Management Limited (HAM) is a boutique fund management and advisory firm and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. HAM manages funds and assets, offers investment advice and provides related services to institutions, families and sophisticated individual investors. HAM aims to provide objective advice on the basis of aligned interests and institutional independence.
